Leasing Consultant - Waterford Place Apartments (Hickory, NC) in Hickory, North Carolina For Sale

Waterford Place Apartments is looking to hire a Leasing Consultant with an energetic personality and exemplary customer service skills. The Leasing Consultant is the property s sales representative, whose primary responsibilities are to greet prospects, and professionally present the features and benefits of the property. All Leasing Consultants should be service oriented and strive to make the prospective and current residents feel welcome and appreciated on the property.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will:
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.
Show apartments and answer prospective residents questions
Provide a professional, positive and engaging experience for prospects while touring the apartment homes and community
Proactively manage sales, outreach and lead generation, converting leads into sales.
Assist in the preparation of marketing material to include newsletters, market surveys and resident retention
Assist in the planning of and participate in resident functions
Work with the maintenance department to ensure service requests and apartment turnovers are completed in a timely manner
Accept rental payments, type leases, complete appropriate paperwork and input information in company s network on a timely basis.
Assisting the Property Manager in all phases of paperwork and reporting procedures as assigned.
Process apartment applications, leases and lease renewals, accurately completing all related paperwork
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience is required; leasing and/or sales experience preferred
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
Previous knowledge of property management software is preferred
Must be available to work Saturdays
