Used SR 556 from the first generation of the rifle. Has had only xxxx rounds fired. 3 stage gas piston operation means rifle is less prone to malfunctions and works better in adverse conditions. Rifle features a 16 inch barrel with integrated flash suppressor to keep a short profile while maintaining law requirements. Chrome lined,cold forged, fluted barrel. Bolt is chromed and features the ruger eagle.
Rifle comes packed with accessories: back up canted iron sights, troy battle sights with the ruger name on them(not pictured), Hogue pistol grip, vertical front grip, magwell grip, 6x32 tactical scope, swat bi pod, three point sling with quick detach points, and Ruger soft case. Rifle also has Magpul UBR stock with extended butt plate and comes with original buttstock and buffer tube(not pictured). comes with 3-USGI 30 round magazines, 3-30 round Magpul PMAGs, 2- Thermold 30 round magazines( good American made not Canadian "Thermelts") and 2 USGI Brownells 20 round magazines. 400 rounds assorted ammo
